Listen to God, whose voice speaks from top of the tallest mountain to the depths of humanity.
May the peace of God’s words resonate within us!
Marvel at the light of the Holy Spirit, which inspires all goodness and shines forth brilliantly against the darkness of sin and evil.
May the light of the Holy Spirit be the lamp to our true path!
Follow Jesus wherever he leads you – for Jesus’ way is love.
May the love of Jesus lead us to change ourselves and the world! Amen.

One:  In the storm, during the fire, despite the strong wind,

All:  the Spirit is steadfastly present.

One:  God brings a word of peace, gentle as a kiss,

All:  therefore we will not fear.

One: Responding to God’s goodness and love,

All: Come, let us step forth to meet Jesus.

We are thirsty for the waters of life, O God.
Come, show us our hope and our salvation.

We are hungry for your presence when the wind blows, when the earth shakes, when fire roars.
Come, show us our hope and our salvation.

We are ready for your light and your truth to lead us.
Come, show us our hope and our salvation.

 

Based on Psalm 42-43 and 1 Kings 19.
