O Lord, the earth belongs to you,
and everyone in the world is your creation.
You established the solid earth
and bear us up above the waters.
Give us the ability to recognize your presence and grace
in everything and in everyone.
Keep our hands clean by your justice;
keep our hearts pure by your mercy;
keep our wills faithful by your truth;
make our lives righteous by your salvation.
We pray for those who seek your face:
for those who suffer illness or injustice;
for those who hunger and thirst for sustenance or for peace;
for those who grieve;
for those who seek forgiveness or the grace to forgive others.
Open the way for your love and mercy
to enter our hearts, our lives, and our world.
Make your home in our lives and shine your glory through us.

we pray for all those who are in trouble.
Lord, send help for your people
and grace from your heavenly throne.
We pray for the faithful ones
who dedicate their every moment to your service.
Shape their hearts according to your love,
and give them what they seek in your will.
We pray for those who glorify and praise you.
Give them your faithful love
and grant that their rejoicing will bear witness to you.
We pray for those who are in need;
for these whom we lift up by name today…
and for all who are in danger or suffering.
Answer your people’s prayers
with healing, justice, and salvation.
We pray for those who are tempted to trust in their own strength,
and we pray for those who have nothing to count on but you.
Uphold your people by your name,

God our Parent, your Spirit makes us your children.
You set us free from fear
and promise us the inheritance of eternal life in Christ.
We long for the fulfillment of Christ’s glory,
the revelation of God’s children for all creation.
We pray for this creation, sitting between the frustration of what is
and the coming birth of what is to come.
Make your hope visible in us,
and make our lives a force for the renewal of creation.
Come, Holy Spirit. Fill the earth.
God of all hope,
we pray for what we have not seen,
and we call on you for the needs that are closest to our hearts.
Heal, comfort, and give hope.

God of compassion,
